By the time the late 60's came around, the burgeoning British amp market was already primed for a shake-up. That shake-up came from the circuit that's in the SonicTone Citrus amp. Based on an entirely different style of amp circuit, it hit the market with a thicker tone than other British amps - and it offered more gain. It came along just at the right time to power the up-and-coming hard rock and heavy metal scene of the 70's. And with its orange tolex and funky look, it was poised to take its place among some of the best in British tube amps.

The SonicTone Citrus is a modern take on that circuit, keeping inline with the original, but adding modern features like channel switching and an FX loop - all while delivering that undeniable heavy tone.

Available as a head, a 1x12 combo or a 2x12 combo.
